Fulford 1-4 Falcons

The under 12’s girls headed to York on Saturday morning to face Fulford.

The game got off to a fairly even start with both teams guilty of some nervous & sloppy play, both sets of coaches were in agreement that neither side had fully woken up yet.

Things settled down and it was Fulford who pressed first pinning Falcons back and winning a few corners in quick succession, some great defending and goalkeeping kept the home team at bay and the scores level.

Mid way through the first half Falcons came to life and a nice strike from Isabel saw them go one nil up and they took that lead into the half time break.

The second half saw the girls play some much more positive pressing football keeping Fulford well inside their own half and it wasn’t long before they found the net again through a strike from Georgina.
